Jane Austen Bonanza!

Ok, it has become a sickness. I'm obsessed.

Yes, yes. The kinda that after hearing it once you see and hear it EVERYWHERE. Just like when you learn a new word and all of a sudden it's a trend. The good part is you're happy you know the meaning and you perk when it comes up in a conversation or such. Funny huh?

Well, tonight i was bored out of my brains and thank god for ON DEMAND on cable I stumbled upon Jane Austen book club movie! AWWWWWwwwww, the best shit ever!!! It was just what i wanted to watch too! Sort of like Joy luck club and How to make an american quilt rolled up in one. LOVE IT! So I made my sisters and mom watch it with me and they thought it was the best movie choice i made for the night (we have movie nights instead of "going out"....and you wonder why i'm still single. lol! Whatevs). If you haven't watched the movie, GO!

This might come off as dorky but I've always wanted to be in a book club! No joke! I've read loads of series books and always felt like I was having a party and only invited myself! Gosh, it would be amazing to make a book club with Jane's books! My sisters loved it and thought what a great idea it would be to make a club ourselves but considering them it'll never happen. :-/ We say we'll do things and laziness and busyness takes over.

So yes, this movie came in perfect timing because after I've FINALLY FINISHED Pride and Prejudice, which was AMAZING and only took me 3 weeks to read instead of months like it thought lol, there was a commercial on TV about them featuring the movie on Sat at 9 on Oxygen and I gasped and thought, Well what do ya know?! :-D Yey! *schedules recording* You can guess what the next movie we'll be watching on movie night! So excited i can pee my panties!

Plus, I'mma buy all her books on amazon! Though, the tricky part is getting the right books that aren't watered down versions or rewritten. I want the goods, the originals! So that'll take time to figure out before I buy. I already have 80 bucks worth of books in my cart lol! Books are sexy for sure.

Anyway, felt like sharing my updates on my Jane Austen phase. I'll keep you updated with more, like it or not!

Signing off,
Mrs. Fitzwilliam Darcy, mistress of Pemberley
*dreamy sigh and whispers* I love you Darcy!

I never heard of this film before.
I have watched How to Make an American Quilt, with Winona!
I think I will love this movie.
And I still need to start my Jane book collection!
I am so looking forward to it :)))

It's great when you start obsessing over something! For me it's usually food or TV actors, ahem,...

Just kidding, hon.

I saw that Quilt movie, it reminded me of Toni Morrison's books, I don't know why though.

Anyhoo, enjoy your "obsession"! It's fun to have them.

OK, so Hugh Dancy - the most adorable thing ever in those bicycle shorts and all awkward and stuff!
I love that movie. I totally have the book and I liked it a lot, but the movie was even better.

Oh i know! the spandex bicycle scene!!! LOLOL! I love him, he's too cute. I love him as that shy, dorky character. It fits him.

The movie was better?! Wow, that never happens. Usually it's the other way around.
