This is the plate I was painting when my "Lost song found" moment happened.
The owner of the pottery place stared at it when I was done, which freaked me out, but then I calmed down when he made me sign it. My sisters went to pick it up on Tuesday and noticed it on display (psyched!). The owner was hesitant to give it back and while my sister held one end of the plate, he held the other end tugging at it asking, "Are you sure you want it back?!" LOL! I sent him this image through email this morning at his request and got a reply telling me it will be on the Website!!!! :-D This made my month.
This will eventually be a painting for my Grandmother. (Mind you, I'm not really a painter. I'm not patient enough. Yet, because I went to art school everyone in my family thinks I finger painted all through college :-/ ) She told me some months ago, in her exact words, that she is waiting for a painting of mine and wants it before she dies.
No pressure there, whatsoever.....None.
[EDIT] LOOK!!! It's up! YEY!!! *squee* :-D
