It's been a while since i wrote but a lot has been going on.
I finally got my car and it's in my parking lot as I type. Thankfully, it hasn't been robbed or crashed (not even by me *phew*). It is safe and sound and very cutie pahtootie. :-) It's a she, I've decided, because she gets a lot of male stares. No, not the driver, only her. I haven't named her yet but i know i soon will. Maybe Bertha for all times sake? Inside joke: My family thinks I will one day marry an 'Ernie' and have 3 kids who I'll name, Ernie (Jr.), Bernie and Bertha. Just cuz they think it has a nice ring to it... and because Bertha sort of sounds like a chubby gal. *rolls eyes* Yeah, I know, I don't get it either but it cracks them up, apparently. Worse part is, there IS an Ernie at church and they're all psyched for me to get over myself and just marry him already. Never mind he's 19 and balding already. :-/ Poor kid.
Anyway, I went to go pick up Bertha at the dealership and all the guys started coming out of their cubicles to stand there and stare at me whispering to each other, "That's the girl..." while pointing. One or two would grin and tell me how the whole thing was just crazy! I was infamous. LOL Something, at least. They showed me the two crashed columns the guy tried to wedge my car through. It obviously didn't fit but I guess he was in a bit of a hurry. Worst part was, the thief didn't even want my car. He wanted another one parked beside it. He just wanted to get mine out of the way. Bertha was rejected. I don't know why i found this so insulting. Is that weird? Don't know.
Meet Bertha (don't know if I like the name yet). I took my sisters parking space (Ford Taurus beside Bertha) and she is pissed:
Meet the not-so-shiny-moron next to Bertha:
I'm still hoping to take a better pic of me straddling her like SM on her car but i don't know how the neighbors would feel about that. So we'll see. New goal when I'm a bit more flexible.
Here's me and my sisters taking a road trip to break it in a bit. Yeah, and no, I'm not driving. They kinda don't let me since I don't know how to drive on the highway yet. :-/ I know, i know... who the hell gets a new car and not really know how to drive? But if you haven't guessed already, i kinda don't do things normally in life. So, I just chilled, sat back, read some FF and chatted with Vanny on my phone. *shrug*

Road trip to where you ask?
*sigh* I'm ashamed to say but we sort of went to another NKOTB concert. Ummm, yeah, make that two. Two NKOTB concerts. I know, I know! It's pathetic! It's enough already! But I swear it, it wasn't my idea or the drivers idea (in the pic). It was my older sister's idea (pic taker). SHE'S OBSESSED!!! I mean she's on Twitter now allll the time tweeting the guys like a freak on steroids. She made us go and pay for our own tix! I wasn't even in the mood but I thought, fuck it, why not? Seeing Jon one more time... err... three more times (if you include concerts) can't be that bad, right?
*sigh* It so is getting old. This was on Thursday in Connecticut, then Friday she dragged us to another show in Massachusetts. Another! So yeah, we were everywhere. And my sister, the driver, was healing from a sprained ankle so she was limping the whole time. Plus, I don't even want to go into the madness of meeting women there and watching them fight. Just insane! I'll tell you a bit more about the retarded things that happened! It's a whooole other post...long one...with subtitles.
I lied and people at work think I went to Cape Cod for the long weekend. So, I have to remember to tell good "Cape Cod stories" tomorrow. I'll think up some on the train to work.
Last time. No more concerts or meet and greets. I said good-bye to Jon for good. He even held my hand cuz I just KNOW he felt it. Even when he didn't remember me and asked me again where I was from—he knew. I saw it in his hazel eyes and scrubby stubble face and smelled it in his smokey funky shirt. He knew. *chokes up* And no, I didn't thumb him up this time. *winks to K* I did what every normal person does and sang to him instead. Really. I was brave. *nods* But I'll tell you more about that. Just felt like sharing for now.
Oh, and HI! LU ALL!
