"I am so bored"

This morning I was in the train. You know, the same routine I do everyday to go to work. As always Meli beside me and Neraiza on the seat next to her. We always get a seat because we're first to get in.

We laughed because the night before when Mom was switching through channels and stopped at Jack Ass 2 the movie and started to watch. We were so weirded out and we weren't sure she knew what she was watching and the women was actually laughing her ass off. Wtf?! Not even I wanted to see the movie....or cared to. But still, we sat there and watched with her with one eye open and gagging all along. Very interesting piece of art this film is, gotta tell ya.

So we're in the train and we laugh about it and start talking about "Wanted" and how great it was! :-) Well, I was telling her he comes out in "Children of Dune" and how we both remembered Isaac (brother) used to watch it on SciFi. Go figure. I remember him watching it and never caught interest. Little did I know...

So she says cool! We can watch something new now. Then she looks at me straight in the face seriously and tells me, "I am so bored."

I knew it wasn't about what we were talking about. Without her telling me, I knew what she was talking about. No, not bored at the moment, but bored of everything. Of the same shit, of the same routine, of the same surroundings, of the same...everything.

She didn't have to explain whatsoever. I just stared back and said,
"Me too."

We both looked away and silence fell. Staring at our surrounding in the train, people reading their books, listening to their iPods, quietly thinking. Wars in their minds for all I knew. Wars that were spinning in our own minds as we stared...thinking. Nothing else had to be said. I've been feeling like this for some time now and I know now I'm not alone.
