Stupid Adult

Mom: Neri, the new offers for (in Spanish accent) verizon phones came through the mail. Take a look at them. You're contract is going to expire.
Me: I know but I'm still debating whether to get the iPhone.
I want to get one. I've waited a long time.
Mom: I told you not to do that!!! You're father saw a report on the news saying that the new phones are $600!! That's stupid it's a waste of money!
Me: Noooo mom, they're 200 bucks and i might just pay 70 bucks monthly or a little bit more. I already pay 50, no big diff.
Mom: Well I think it's stupid. You shouldn't get the phone! It's a
waste of $600!
Me: *Frustrated* ...again, not 600.
Mom: Just look at the offers for verizon and get one of those.
Sister: But that's not what she wants, Mom. She want's the iPhone. She's an adult already let her do what she wants!
Mom: *red in the face* I know she’s an adult! But she’s a stupid adult!
Me: WTF?!
Sister: *laughs hysterically*
